MCHS District #111 Balanced Scorecard
On April 15, 2010, the Minooka Community High School District #111 Board of Education adopted a new strategic plan for the district. The plan, which was the result of a collaborative effort involving parents, students, the community, staff members, and the Board of Education, has set the district's course for continuous improvement and now serves as a guide to district leadership and staff as we work toward our mission, which is to inspire and motivate our students with an educational experience that leads to achievement and success.
As MCHS continues on this course, we will measure our progress by collecting and processing data on a variety of indicators. These indicators, ranging in topic from student achievement to financial health, tie directly to specific priorities within the strategic plan, which in turn fall under one of the plan's four overarching district goals. As indicators are reported upon by district leadership to the Board of Education each month, a comprehensive summary of the indicators is published online for the community to view in the form of a balanced scorecard. This balanced scorecard provides a quick snapshot of each indicator's status, and also offers links to up to five years of trend data. MCHS District #111 encourages all members of the community to review this important information, as it provides a closer look at our district, our students' successes, and how we are working each day to live our mission.
