MCHS will administer final assessments for all courses on December 20th, 21st, and 22nd this year (see schedule below). Students will be assessed in a variety of ways including unit assessments, projects, or culminating exams. Please note that dual credit courses are administering their final assessment per their agreement with their affiliated college. Please be aware that final assessment days are student attendance days; students are expected to attend. Students will not be permitted to leave a classroom during a final assessment to avoid disrupting the testing environment for all students. If your student has a resource period, a permission slip will be coming home with them for your signature to be excused from their resource.
If your student misses a final assessment day, please contact the teacher to schedule a make-up time. If your student will miss ALL final assessment days, please contact Mary Hamiti, secretary to the Principal at mhamiti@mchs.net, to get prior Principal approval. There will be make-up assessment time on all final assessment days, including appointments scheduled over winter break to make up assessments.
