Minooka Community High School Central Campus offers a free preschool for children aged 3-5 years old by September 1st of the year in which they are registered. Activities are created and taught by high school students enrolled in the Child Development II class. All subjects are covered including math, language arts, science, art, and fine and gross motor skills. Children will also have weekly visits to our school library to check out books.
It begins early fall and runs through mid-December. It starts again the end of February and runs through mid-May. It's offered two days a week that change each week to match our high school block schedule and is from 8:20 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. Children must be potty trained and able to use the restroom without assistance.
