
The Central counseling staff invited Joliet Junior College admissions, testing services, registration and scholarship professionals to help our seniors attending JJC this fall finalize their plans. It was a great opportunity for our students planning to attend!

We are excited to feature MCHS alumna Rachel (Herzberger) Johnson '13 who is a high school biology teacher at Samuel Clemens High School in Texas. While at MCHS, she played golf, soccer, basketball, and was an athletic training student aide. She obtained her bachelor's degree in athletic training from North Central College and worked as an EMT and EMT instructor for five years, where she discovered her passion for teaching. She credits the great teachers she had at MCHS for inspiring her to become a teacher. She then pursued her master's degree in education from Grand Canyon University. #mchsproud 🧡🖤


Tonight is the night! NHS is hosting a Wheelchair Basketball fundraiser game tonight from 6-8pm in the Central Campus main gym to support the Lincoln-Way Special Recreation Association. Our strength and conditioning program hosted several days of youth camps. We are grateful for a strong community of supporters and all the kids who participated!


ASL students from Minooka traveled to Illinois State University for a "DHH Teacher Day" learning about their Deaf Education program, hearing about what a DHH Teacher does, and observing in the lab school classrooms with Deaf students. It was an amazing opportunity for our ASL students to learn how to use their ASL skills as a career!

We are excited to feature MCHS alumnus Edward Doyle '19 who is a police officer for Bourbonnais PD. While at MCHS, he played football and was a student scholar athlete and on the honor roll throughout both high school and college. He obtained his bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in criminal justice from Aurora University. He graduated from the Macon County Police Academy and loves serving and protecting his community. #mchsproud 🧡🖤

Congratulations to MCHS senior Nyah McCallum for being selected as the 2025 Channahon-Minooka Rotary Club April Student of the Month! She was nominated by Mr. Kyle Adelmann. Each month, the Rotary Club honors one senior student with exemplary leadership and service mindedness. #mchsproud



Over 80 students, staff, parents, and community members gathered on Friday and Saturday as part of the Strategic Plan Workshop. Participants shared their voice and helped to create our five-year plan. We are so grateful for their time and dedication to MCHS. The future is bright!





Let's have fun while supporting our local community! Students and staff are invited to join us for our Outrun Hunger event on April 10-11 during each block. We are collecting canned goods to donate to local food pantries. Each lap students complete, they will get a ticket for a drawing to win a prize. 🧡🖤


Mr. Tanaka's Calculus 3 class went to Loyola University Chicago for a field trip where they were able to attend a lecture, talk with professors and see the campus. It was a great student experience!
