Congratulations to 11 student-artists who competed in the SPC Art Competition at Joliet Central. Eight students attended workshops that day to learn new processes and techniques and five students were awarded conference ribbons:

We'd like to feature MCHS alumnus Kody Block '15 who is a filmmaker/photographer for KB Visuals in Arizona. While at MCHS, he participated in wrestling, baseball, and track and field. He obtained his bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri and started his own business that services clients around the world for documentary and commercial video production and photography services. His career has allowed him to travel the world. He wants students to know they will find success if they identify values and interests even if it's not the traditional route to take. We were honored to host nearly 400 senior citizens from our community at our Welcome Reception & Musical Matinee featuring the spring musical, Anastasia!
