Congratulations to girls cross country team who secured flight wins from Maya Ledesma (Flight 1), Taya Gummerson (Flight 3), and Sam Hulick (Flight 7), finishing 2nd overall in the 13-team event and to the boys team who earned flight wins from Carter Wikoff (Flight 6) and Ryan Resar (Flight 5), finishing 3rd overall. Students participated in the Homecoming Week assembly on Friday! There were lots of games, activities, including tug-of-war, musical chairs, and more. It was a great week for school spirit!











Last week, the Board of Education recognized Coach Mark Brown for being selected as IHSA Sectional Coach of the Year by the Illinois Coaches Association. His biggest fan was there to celebrate him, too! Congratulations to Coach Brown and the softball team for their success!


We are looking forward to seeing those participating in Sunday's Youth Cheer Camp at South Campus from 10:30am-3:30pm (door 1) and Youth Dance Camp at Central Campus from 11:30am-2p (door 20)! See you then!

This week, senior students gathered at MCHS's ongoing Homecoming Week tradition - Senior Sunrise!
