She spent 5 years at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN, studying mechanical engineering and six sigma. What an incredible opportunity! Our Anatomy & Physiology classes got to go live into the operating room at Advocate Christ Medical Center in partnership with the Museum of Science & Industry and watch via video conference as a surgical team performed open heart surgery. Students could ask questions of the team and learn about heart health and find out about medical careers.
