Hello! My name is Ms. Welch. This is my 8th year at MCHS. The best part of being a librarian is helping students find just the right book or research article. I love books, the Chicago Sky, Chipotle, and my cats!
The library staff members at the South and Central libraries look forward to meeting all students and assisting with their reference, research and reading needs. Everyone is encouraged to ask when needing help finding a book, navigating a subscription database, using technology or obtaining information.
The mission of the MCHS libraries is to provide materials that support and enrich the curriculum of the school, at varying levels of difficulty, in a variety of formats with varying points of view. In selecting materials, principles outweigh personal opinion. The MCHS Libraries try to satisfy current needs and anticipate future ones.
